It’s called Bryx Mobile!

Bryx Mobile is an intuitive app that displays call information for fire and EMS personnel. We have adapted it to use as a countywide notification system, similar to PulsePoint, for our active subscribers. The app will display all fire and EMS calls in Delaware County, PA, and offers mapping and navigation, call notes, historical call information, and Dispatch Groups to control your alerts. While the app will display every call when you open it, you can choose which call types you receive alerts for. While we cannot cater to each and every call type (the County uses over 85 unique call types), We organized them into 10 different Dispatch Groups. Our Dispatch Groups are organized something like this:

• All Calls- Alerts users to every call in the county, including all EMS and fire types

• Fire Only- Alerts users to every fire-type call, including building fires, fire alarms, hazmats, vehicle rescues, brush fires, cover assignments, accidents, wires, etc.

• EMS Only- Alerts users to every EMS-type call, including all ALS and BLS calls.

• ALS Only- Alerts users to all ALS calls, including heart attacks, seizures, stabbings, tachycardia, hypotension, cardiac arrests, stroke (CVA), maternity, etc.

• BLS Only- Alerts users to all BLS calls, including back pain, extremity pain, psychiatric emergencies, lacerations, fractures, etc.

• Accidents- Alerts users to all accident call types, including with injury, fire or entrapment.

• Building Fires- Alerts users to all residential and commercial building fires only.

• Hazmat- Alerts users to all hazmat-related calls, such as gas leaks and fuel spills.

• Rescues- Alerts users to all accidents with entrapment, residential and industrial rescues and elevator rescues.

• Shootings- Alerts users to Gun Shot Victim calls only.
